Frequently asked questions
Here, you'll find answers to common questions about booking, refunds, and campsite rules. Please note that the rules listed here apply primarily to our Silverstone Formula 1 campsite. For rules specific to our other campsites, please visit their respective websites:

Do I need anything when I arrive at Pit Stop Glamping?
Please have your email confirmation ready so we can check you in. If your group members are travelling separately, please make sure they all have a copy of the email.
Can I make any changes to my booking?
Yes! Changes can be made up to 7 days in advance. Pop us an email to bookings@pitstopglamping.com or call us and we will amend your booking. If there is a difference in price, we will outline this.
Can I camp next to my friends?
Please let us know at least 1 month before the event start date if you would like to stay next to friends.
Send an e-mail to bookings@pitstopglamping.com and provide us with the details for each booking that wants to be next too each other, name and booking reference. We will do our best to accommodate groups who are staying on the same pitch type.
Can I book power later if I change my mind?
Yes, however we have a limited number available for powered pitches so please get this booked as early as possible

If I leave early, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, once you have arrived at Pit Stop Glamping, we do not offer refunds.
What if the weather is bad, can I cancel or get a refund?
As the weather is out of our hands, we do not issue any weather-related refunds. The only exception to this rule would be extreme weather that causes the site condition to be unsuitable.

What facilities are on-site? (These facilities are for our Silverstone camping site. For our Donington park site, check out Donington park farmhouse)

Are generators allowed?
Yes. We ask for them to be turned off by midnight.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely!
Are BBQs allowed?
Yes, raised BBQs and firepits are allowed on-site as they do not burn the grass. We cannot permit open fires.
Do you have a noise policy?
We require all our guests to be respectful to others. We ask for all music and generators to be switched off by [midnight] in both areas. You may be asked to leave if you are making too much noise.
Can I have guests?
Guests are welcome to visit the campsite during the day, they must sign in and out at Reception. If you are expecting guests, please inform Reception beforehand as this will help us prepare their daytime wristbands.
If guests are staying for the evening, or visiting during the evening, this will be subject to a visitor fee. Please contact us for more information.
Note - We sell a limited number of evening guest wristbands at reception for[ £10] per guest. These will need to be purchased so they can get through security and they have a time limit for when they must be offsite.
Any additional cars must park in the designated car park. All visitors must adhere to our campsite rules.
